About this opportunity We are seeking a capable and well-organised Business Support Officer to provide administrative and coordination support to Councils Information Services and Technology (IST) team. The role focuses on supporting people, processes and systems to help the team operate efficiently and deliver high-quality internal services. Youll work in a structured, collaborative environment, contributing to day-to-day coordination, documentation and administration. The position is based in Beaudesert, but you may be required to work from any of Councils offices (Boonah and Tamborine Mountain) or facilities within the Scenic Rim. Additionally, youll also Provide general administrative support to a ICT Team. Coordinate procurement activities, purchase orders and invoices. Prepare documents, reports, agendas and meeting minutes Manage diaries, schedules and administrative workflows . Assist with budget monitoring and routine financial tasks . Maintain asset and equipment registers (e.g. laptops, mobile devices) . Liaise with vendors and internal staff to support service delivery. About you You are a reliable and detail oriented business support professional who enjoys helping teams function effectively. Experience in administration, business support, procurement or customer service. Well developed written and verbal communication skills Strong organisation, time management with the ability to manage competing priorities. Confidence using Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications. The ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and external vendors. Experience in an ICT or systems-based environment is helpful but not essential. Whats in it for you?
