The opportunity Architectural Hardwood Joinery is seeking an Apprentice Wood Machinist / CNC Operator to join our dynamic team in Woonona, NSW. As a full-time role, you will play a key part in the production of high-quality timber products for the construction and design industries. Key responsibilities Operating state of the art woodworking machinery and 5 axis Biesse CNC equipment to manufacture timber components and finished products Performing routine maintenance and monitoring of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety Reading and interpreting technical drawings to inform the manufacturing process Assisting with the assembly and finishing of timber products Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and efficiency Contributing to a collaborative and safety-focused work environment What we''re looking for A mature, motivated individual with a keen interest in woodworking and manufacturing Willingness to undertake a wood machinist apprenticeship to develop specialist skills Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to work with precision machinery Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic What we offer At Architectural Hardwood Joinery, we are committed to supporting the professional and personal growth of our employees.
