TPCorp is expanding its metering team after securing major Smart Metering projects across the Canberra ACT Region. Were looking for A-Grade Electricians to join our long-term contract in the smart metering space. No metering experience required! Your responsibilities will be: To safely and efficiently install smart electricity meters at homes, businesses, and industrial sites Carry out installations or exchanges of single-phase and three-phase whole current meters, as well as diagnose and resolve faults Make sure all tasks are performed to high standards and follow industry regulations and safety guidelines To be eligible for this role : Must operate as an incorporated Pty Ltd business Own a reliable, suitable work vehicle Possess an iPad or tablet Compliance Requirements Licences & Certifications: Hold a Company Contractor Electrical Licence Hold an Individual Electrical Licence (state based) Have a Drivers Licence (state based) Possess a General Induction Card (White Card) Complete the Working with Children Check (Within last 12mths) National Police Check (Within last 12mths) Asbestos Awareness Training Install and commission whole current electricity meters (UEEEL0078 or equivalent) Insurance Compliance required: Maintain Public Liability Insurance (minimum $20 million) Have Workers'' Compensation Insurance where applicable Carry Motor Vehicle Insurance Training and Qualifications required: Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (HLTAID009) Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel (UETDRMP007) Provide first aid in an ESI environment (UETDRMP010) Test connections to low voltage electricity networks (UETDRMP011) Working Safely with Asbestos Containing Materials (11348NAT) Asbestos Awareness (11084NAT) Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention (10830NAT) Apply for Electrical Licence endorsement (interval metering): Note: The subcontractor is responsible for arranging and covering all required training, certifications, and documents.
