Were looking for a friendly, practical and reliable person to join us as Caretaker at Kariong Scout Camp. Set in a peaceful bushland location near Gosford, this live onsite role would suit someone who enjoys hands on work, takes pride in keeping a property well maintained, and likes being part of a community focused organisation. Youll be responsible for the day-to-day care of the campgrounds and facilities, helping make sure the site is clean, safe, welcoming and ready for Scout groups and other visitors to enjoy. About the role Your day-to-day work will include: Mowing, gardening and general grounds upkeep Basic maintenance and repairs Cleaning shared facilities and accommodation areas Opening, closing and securing the site Assisting with bookings and site access Coordinating trades and service providers when needed Helping ensure the camp is safe and well presented at all times About you Were looking for someone who is: Handy, practical and self-motivated Comfortable working independently Organised and reliable Friendly and approachable with visitors and volunteers Able to manage a range of tasks across the property Committed to safety and high standards Requirements Current Driver Licence National Police Check Working With Children Check First Aid / CPR (or willingness to obtain) Whats on offer Grade 2 (Amusement and Recreation Award) $25.85 per hour Base salary of $26,884 per annum Superannuation of $3,266.08 Live onsite accommodation included Essential Checks Scouts NSW is committed to being a ''Youth-Safe'' organisation and expects our Employed Team to agree to our Youth Protection Policy and Procedure, Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct.
