This program is an amazing opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to build on their experience by working with a diverse client base. This role isnt your typical style of Occupational Therapy through this program you will be working with clients who have a wide range of challenges, and you will be able to work with clients with specific goals in mind. You will be working with clients on reabling them in their homes to achieve their goals. Whilst working with the clients you will have the opportunity to view their life as a whole and work with them to achieve their vision of reablement. You will have the chance to work with families and the wider community to provide a holistic approach to the client care.This role is a true challenge and will allow you to develop skills which cannot be achieved in a private or hospital setting. Are You the Right Fit?You are an Occupational Therapist at Level 1 or 2 who understands the importance of timely, coordinated interventions in community aged care settings. You bring strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team environment. You recognise the essential role occupational therapy plays in discharge planning and patient safety and are committed to delivering high quality, evidence based care in clients homes. Your contribution will directly support team efficiency and effectiveness, helping to prevent service gaps, reduce risk to patient outcomes, and support sustainable workloads for the broader team. Selection CriteriaTo help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Demonstrated clinical experience in aged care and/or community health and/or rehabilitation.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in a range of programs.Evidence of knowledge and commitment to the application of quality improvement and evidence-based practice.Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver''s license (including P1 or P2).
