The team is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred imaging services, with a strong focus on collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.About the roleAs aRadiographer Level 3 Grade 3 (Sonographer), you will provide advanced ultrasound and medical imaging services across a range of clinical settings. Youll deliver high-quality ultrasound services across abdominal, pelvic, small parts, obstetric, vascular and paediatric imaging, while also providing clinical advice and imaging expertise to support patient care and clinical decision-making.You will produce accurate and timely reports to assist Radiologists, work across multiple modalities within a7-day rotating rosterincluding on-call, and travel to satellite sites to support service delivery across the region as required. Youll also supervise and support students, trainees and developing practitioners, and contribute to continuous improvement and service innovation initiatives.About youYou are a motivated and experienced imaging professional who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.You bring:Degree in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent. Eligible for registration with Australian Health Professionals Registration Authority (AHPRA), hold/ current NSW EPA Radiation licence and ASAR accreditation and Post graduate qualification in Medical Sonography and registration with the Australian Sonographers Accreditation Registry (ASAR)Demonstrated clinical experience in ultrasound imaging.Strong experience across a broad range of examinations, including paediatric imaging.Excellent communication and report-writing skills.The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Sound clinical judgement, with the ability to analyse complex situations and problem-solve effectively.Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.A commitment to professional, ethical and culturally respectful practice.A current drivers licence and willingness to travel as required.These capabilities will help you succeed in a role where your expertise directly supports patient care across a busy regional service.The PerksAtHunter New England Healthenjoy a career where you''re challenged by interesting work and surrounded by spectacular locations.
