Promoting health and well-being by assisting clients and helping them with their own cleaning routines Working autonomously and/or with others to achieve scheduled work on time Identifying and reporting WHS non-compliances and adhering to WHS policy and procedures including completing cleaning records and training requirements Selecting and utilising appropriate cleaning agents Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, tidying and sanitising surfaces Replenishing toiletries, such as toilet paper, paper towels and hand wash Emptying waste from bins, ashtrays and waste containers, cleaning receptacles and replacing with clean ones Periodically, using chemicals, solvents, high-pressure water cleaners and other cleaning equipment, such as wet vacuums and other suction equipment Taking responsibility for delivery of a high quality clean at each site, communicating professionally with clients, securing facilities if required, and reporting any issues to your manager All other reasonable tasks The good bits: Training provided Checklists provided for each site Work for a reputable locally owned company Travel time and kms paid between client sites Promoting health and well being Award hourly rate Contract Cleaners Award, WA, 12% super The challenging bits: Its a physical job, so you need to be quite fit Loads of repetitive motions, heavy lifting, and exposure to cleaning chemicals Dealing with varying levels of cleanliness or hygiene standards from different individuals or organizations Logistical challenges such as scheduling conflicts Workplace Health and Safety: Mint and Thyme Cleaning Services is committed to safety, and all team members are required to follow WHS policy and procedure. Experience: Cleaning: 1 year (Required) Licence/Certification: Drivers Licence (Essential) National Police Clearance (Preferred) Certificate III in Cleaning Operations (CPP30316) (Optional) Schedule: Minimum 2 hour call. Primarily weekdays mornings, but work schedule sits between 6am and 6pm.
