The Role This is an office-based role at the heart of our customer relationships. You''ll be the first point of contact for new enquiries and a trusted partner for existing customers guiding interactions from initial quotation through to order fulfilment and follow-up. You don''t need to be an engineer. You will be trained in the basic features and benefits of our products to handle general enquiries, with our engineering team on hand for the technical detail. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to customer enquiries via email and video conference Conduct due diligence on new customers and coordinate Mutual Confidentiality Agreements Record all customer interactions in our Google Sheet CRM Prepare quotations in consultation with the production team on lead times Review Purchase Orders against quotations, prepare Customer Sales Orders and provide order progress updates Follow up with customers post-delivery and coordinate technical support as needed Arrange marketing materials for CEO visits and trade shows Other tasks as required What We''re Looking For Attention to detail particularly in quoting and recording customer interactions accurately Highly organised able to manage multiple enquiries concurrently, follow up open quotations, and maintain proactive customer touchpoints Excellent written and verbal communication professional, prompt and friendly Relationship-focused able to build genuine rapport with international customers across time zones and cultures Team player comfortable liaising with engineering and production teams to resolve queries Tech proficient Word, Excel, Google Docs and Google Sheets Interest in technology or manufacturing an advantage but not essential Other Requirements Current Tasmanian driver''s licence Baseline security screening may be required (Australian Government Security Vetting Agency) Only candidates with full working rights in Australia will be considered Salary Note The salary range is $66,000 to $77,000 per year excluding superannuation depending on experience. The upper end of the range would apply to a candidate with demonstrated experience in quoting and sales within a manufacturing business where a significant proportion of customers are based overseas.
