The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services.We are seeking to engage reliable and professional Security Officers to help maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, volunteers, patients, visitors, and contractors of our Hawkesbury campus. This essential role is focused on ensuring the safety of our healthcare facilities by delivering consistent and high-quality security services in line with legislative requirements and organisational policies.As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for conducting regular security patrols across the buildings and grounds, escorting staff and visitors as needed, and preventing unauthorised access to restricted areas. You will play a key role in managing aggressive or challenging behaviour to support a safe environment, and youll be required to respond swiftly and effectively to any incidents or alarms. The role also involves preparing reports and audits in line with the Security Industry Act, maintaining the operation of all security equipment, and ensuring the correct allocation and tracking of security devices such as keys and access cards. Clear and timely communication with management and accurate logging of all incidents will be essential in supporting the overall security function.This is a critical position within the NBMLHD team, requiring strong situational awareness, professionalism, and a commitment to the safety of everyone within the facility.
