We are currently looking for another chef or experienced cook to join our team. We are a fast-paced Tavern located in Wannanup, about 10 min south of Mandurah central, overlooking the Dawesville Cut. We are looking for someone who is able to work all sections, including larder, pans, fryers and is quite strong and is able to work well within a team including but not limited to the following duties: Preparation of food, cooking and presentation of dishes Responsible for the management of kitchen operations Maintain quality of food of all stages of food preparation Responsible for the management of safe and hygienic work environment Train other kitchen staff Check the food temperature and ensure its is fresh Work in a team environment As and when required work alongside with the Owner and contribute towards the menu Ability to work efficiently under pressure Ability to work in line with budget Responsible for the ordering and maintaining of stock Requirement Relevant qualifications in Culinary and Minimum 2 years experience Full availability including nights and weekends is required. The position currently requires a min of 40 plus hours per week. We like to be as flexible as we possibly can as we appreciate that work/life balance is important.
