The role offers genuine variety across breakdown support, preventative tasks, electrical fault finding, plant reliability work, equipment upgrades and improvement projects. There is also an opportunity for the right person to contribute ideas and help us continue improving how we support production across the site. About the role Working as part of the Maintenance teal, you will help maintain, repair and improve electrical systems, plant and equipment across the site. Day to day, this will include: Electrical fault finding, repairs and support across plant, machinery and site equipment Responding to breakdowns and helping minimise production downtime Completing preventative inspections and scheduled tasks Troubleshooting electrical systems, motors, sensors, drives, circuits and related equipment Supporting equipment installations, upgrades, modifications and improvement work Working closely with production, engineering and WHS teams Identifying recurring issues and helping with practical reliability improvements Keeping job records and notes up to date Completing work safely and in line with site procedures About you We are looking for someone who is practical, reliable and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified Electrician and hold a current electrical licence. Ideally, you will also have: Experience in industrial, manufacturing, production, FMCG, engineering or a similar environment Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Experience supporting breakdowns, plant reliability and preventative work Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical information Practical knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, control systems and production equipment PLC fault-finding experience would be highly regarded Strong safety focus Good communication skills and the ability to work well with production teams A proactive approach and willingness to support site improvements
