You will work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders to manage project timeframes, quality, cost and scope, ensuring community outcomes and safety objectives are met.Key responsibilities include: Managing the project and delivery process to ensure road, bridge or traffic infrastructure and maintenance projects meet agreed time, cost, quality and scope requirements. Leading investigation and design processes, preparing project briefs and estimates, and engaging and overseeing service providers. Preparing contract documents, including technical specifications, to support efficient project delivery. Implementing effective cost management systems to ensure sound financial control. Applying safety, environmental and quality management procedures and guidelines across all projects. You bring strong technical expertise, sound judgement and excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively manage stakeholders, solve problems and deliver quality infrastructure outcomes.You enjoy working both independently and collaboratively, balancing competing priorities while keeping safety, community and value-for-money at the forefront.To succeed in this role, you will have: Knowledge of materials, equipment and techniques used in road, bridge and traffic infrastructure construction and maintenance. Experience preparing estimates, project delivery briefs, WHS, quality, environmental and traffic management plans. Experience managing construction and maintenance projects, including direct control workforces. Knowledge of tendering and contract management processes. Proficiency in computer based tools and systems for project and information management. A four year engineering degree (Electrical, Civil or related), or equivalent overseas qualifications.
