You will be working within a multidisciplinary team focused on evidence based patient centred care, health promotion and early intervention, to promote a safe discharge home or transfer to the appropriate post-acute hospital care.What you''ll be doingProvision of support to the nursing team in order to deliver a high standard of care to NSLHD patients.People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:Currently enrolled in second or third year of a Bachelor of Nursing or degree deemed appropriate; or current enrolment in Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) with evidence of completion of Block 1; or completion of HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care).Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to work in a team.Need more information?1) Click here for the Position Description2) Find out more about applying for this positionFor role related queries or questions contact Emma Sturt onThis is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and screening for certain diseases.
