Position Overview: As an Order Processing Specialist, your contribution is crucial in ensuring that customer orders are processed and fulfilled without any hitches. Your attention to detail, organizational abilities, and communication skills will enhance the efficiency of our operations, leading to greater customer satisfaction. Collaboration with other teams such as sales, logistics, and the warehouse will be necessary to ensure precise and timely processing of orders. Responsibilities: As a responsible team member, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including maintaining the customer database in Unleashed, responding to stock and sales inquiries, and reviewing customer orders from various channels such as phone, email, and online platforms. You will need to ensure that all order details, such as product codes, quantities, pricing, and shipping information, are accurate and complete before entering them into the company''s order management system promptly. You will also collaborate with the sales team to resolve any discrepancies or issues, such as product availability or pricing differences, and communicate order status and relevant information to customers promptly. Additionally, you will coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure that orders are picked, packed, and shipped promptly. It will be your responsibility to monitor inventory levels and report any potential stock shortages or excesses proactively. You will also be required to maintain reports related to order processing metrics, order status, and inventory levels, as well as the Unleashed Dashboard for customers, ensuring there are no overdue accounts, and managing placed, and parked backorders, and quotes. You will assist in developing and improving order processing procedures to enhance overall efficiency and customer satisfaction. Therefore, you must maintain a thorough understanding of the company''s product offerings and stay up-to-date with any changes or new releases. Requirements: To be considered for this position, it would be beneficial to have at least two years of experience in order processing and customer service, or a similar role. Additionally, experience in the flooring industry would be advantageous. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in order management software and either Google Suites or Microsoft Office Suite, are required. You should also feel confident speaking with customers on the phone. You should have excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You should also possess exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a high volume of orders effectively. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach, are also essential. You should be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with colleagues and customers. Finally, you should have problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changes in a dynamic work environment.
