Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand Steel Fixer to supervise and coordinate reinforcement works across our residential and commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can manage a small team while maintaining high-quality workmanship and site productivity. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of steel fixers on-site Read and interpret drawings Plan daily activities and allocate tasks efficiently Ensure correct installation of light steel framing on concrete slabs Monitor quality, accuracy, and compliance with engineering specifications Work hands-on and coordinate team Enforce WHS requirements and safe work practices Track progress and report to Project Manager Skills & Experience Required Minimum 5+ years experience in steel fixing Previous experience in a Leading Hand or supervisory role Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings Solid understanding of Australian Standards and construction practices White Card (mandatory) Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure Drivers licence What We Offer Long-term, stable employment Opportunities to progress into Site Supervisor roles Supportive management team Work on diverse and high-quality projects Pay: $90,000.00 $110,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
