Greensoul Organics is looking for a casual General Retail Assistant at the Beaconsfield shop. You will be helping customers identify and purchase products that they desire. The duties include selling, restocking, handling fresh produce and packing online orders, etc as required. The goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase companys growth and revenue through sales maximisation. Greensoul Organics is a small organic food store in Beaconsfield which specialises in sale of organic, gluten free, vegan and non GMO food stuff. You will be required to work weekends. The right candidate for this role will be good with customer service, have a passion for dealing with fresh produce, be health conscious, great working attitude and adaptable to assist customers. Responsibilities Handling of fresh certified organic produce and restocking shelves. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards Maintain a fully stocked store -this includes fresh produce and shelf items Ascertain customers needs and wants Recommend and display items that match customer needs Welcome and greet customers Manage point-of-sale processes Actively involved in the receiving of new shipments Keep up to date with product information Accurately describe product features and benefits Able to work with others Follow all company policies and procedures Requirements Experience in retail assistant role Knowledge in organics, supplements and health foods Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices Proficiency in English Solid communication and interpersonal skills Customer service focus Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality Pay: From $30.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Application Question(s): Do you have experience in handling fresh produce?
