About the RoleThis isnt just a front desk job. For 28hours a week youll be the first point of connection for our clients and a steady, reassuring presence in what can sometimes be emotional moments. From welcoming a new puppy to supporting a long-time client through a difficult goodbye, youll play an important role in every part of the journey. What Youll Be Doing Greeting clients and their pets with warmth and authenticity Managing appointments with care and attention to detail Answering phones and emails in a friendly, helpful manner Supporting our vets and nurses with day-to-day coordination and tasks Handling payments and maintaining accurate client records Helping create a calm, clean, and welcoming clinic environment About You Previous veterinary receptionist experience is essential Youre naturally kind, empathetic, and a great communicator You stay calm under pressure and can juggle a busy day with ease Youre organised, reliable, and take pride in your work You enjoy being part of a supportive team (and pitching in where needed) A genuine love of animals and their wellbeing Why Join Vet in the Hills?
