RoseJacksonMLC,youllbe responsible forcapturing the day-to-day work of theMinisterand turning it into engaging digital stories.This includes recognising andleveragingopportunities within social media platforms, traditional journalism, digital media, and developing content strategies tailored to the needs of the office.This role sits at the centre of communicating the work of the Minister, the Hon. Rose Jackson MLC, and the Government across key priority areas including public housing, mental health,youthand essential services such as water.These priorities shape peoples day to day lives, from having a safe place to call home to accessing support when it is needed and relying on essential services.The positionis responsible forcapturing theday to daywork of the Minister and translating it into clear,engagingand accessible digital content. This includes communicating complex policy in a way that is meaningful to the community and reflects the Governments priorities.The role requires a balance of practical digital capability and strong judgement. It is not only about producing content, but about shaping how the Governments work is understood, ensuring messaging is clear,consistentand grounded in the lived experiences of the people it affects.You will work closely with a small, high performing team in afast pacedenvironment, contributing to both proactive storytelling and responsive communications.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate,editand publish high quality digital content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X and FacebookCapture day to day activities of the Minister, including announcements, sitevisitsand community engagementTranslate policy,announcementsand issues into clear,accessibleand engaging contentSupport the development and delivery of digital communication strategies aligned with Government prioritiesMonitor media and digital channels and respond to emerging issues ina timelyandappropriate wayContribute to messaging, talking points and broader communication materials asrequiredWork collaboratively within the Ministerial office to support communications outcomesWereLooking ForThis is ahands onDigital Media Advisor role within a Ministerial office.
