About Tallawarra Power Station Tallawarra is a state-of-the-art power station made up of both a combined cycle and open cycle units, located on the shores of Lake Illawarra in New South Wales. The onsite team of professionals operate and maintain one of the most environmentally efficient, large-scale gas-fired power stations in Australia. About the role As an Instrumentation, Control & Electrical Technician at Tallawarra Power Station, you''ll be responsible for the execution of our maintenance activities pertaining to electrical and instrumentation plant, contributing to the ongoing reliability and performance of our electrical assets and equipment. Reporting to the Tallawarra Maintenance Leader, you''ll form part of a relatively small onsite team dedicated to uplifting both preventative maintenance and fault-finding activities and culture. Detailed role activities include, but are not limited to: Utilise your heavy industry electrical maintenance skills to plan and execute maintenance of the electrical and instrumentation assets and equipment onsite Drive problem and trouble-shooting technical activities with Operations and Engineering Build a joint approach to maintenance with the Operations Team and contractors Ensure that health & safety is always top of mind for you and the wider team What we''re looking for Electrical trade qualifications or higher and associated licences Minimum 5 years'' experience working in Heavy Industry / Power Industry setting Experienced with HV and Instrumentation is not essential, but would be of benefit Capability using computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as Maximo Well-rounded interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills Demonstrated experience working effectively on your own and in a small team.
