Lead and support a dedicated team in the effective management of assets Drive operational objectives and ensure the delivery of strategic asset management plans Permanent full-time role with flexible/ hybrid working arrangements available Leaseback vehicle available About the role The role of Team Leader Asset Management is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and functioning of the Asset Management team. This role will see you empowering the team through training and mentorship while ensuring the successful execution of programs and projects within the section. Reporting to the Section Manager Asset Management and Planning, you will be responsible for managing asset data collection, implementing asset management plans, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices. This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community. To be successful in this role, you will have: a degree qualification in Asset Management, Business or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role with ongoing professional development demonstrated experience in preparation and implementation of Asset Management Plans demonstrated experience in modelling and analysing technical and financial asset data demonstrated project management experience including experience in problem solving, analysing and developing project solutions independently experience leading a team of specialists including the coordination of works programs, and developing asset inspection programs demonstrated experience in property management, building facilities management, engineering, asset management systems industries demonstrated leadership behaviours, including active communication regarding performance, business strategy, diversity, coaching and mentoring and change management strong oral and written communication skills with a client focus. Other important information The commencing salary for this position is up to $110.9k per year. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $128.5k on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation We have a permanent full-time role available This role will be able to access a 9-day fortnight We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role - 2 days from home and 3 days onsite This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building. A leaseback vehicle is provided in this role for official duties and private use and your choice of vehicle will be provided when one becomes available in accordance with Councils Vehicle Policy. In the meantime, either an alternate pre-used vehicle or a vehicle allowance of $207.31 per week is temporarily applied for this position due to ongoing issues with supply for new vehicles. Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.
