Trusted, local and outcomes-driven, Mai-Wel is Full of Possible. Description: We are currently seeking casual support workers to join our dedicated team in the Maitland area. This is a rewarding opportunity for compassionate, reliable people who enjoy working closely with participants and being part of a supportive team. The purpose of this role is to fundamentally support participants to enrich their life, through the development and implementation, of life activities, to improve their quality of life and achieve their uniquely identified goals. We are looking for passionate support workers to work across Day programs, Supported Living, Community Living, Thrive Academy to support our participants to meet their goals. The follows shifts are available: Morning (6am - 10am), Day (8am - 5pm), Afternoon (2pm - 10pm), Evening (4pm - 11pm), Sleepover (4pm - 8am), Active Night Shift (11pm - 6am). Skills and Experiences: About You You are patient, reliable, and passionate about supporting people with disability to live fulfilling lives. Essential: Experience working as a Support Worker or in a similar role Strong communication skills Ability to work independently or as a part of a team Current Australian Drivers licence and fully insured vehicle NDIS Worker screening clearance Current Police Check WWCC First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain) Desirable: Certificate 3 or higher in Disability, Individual Support or Community services will be highly regarded.
