In this role, you''ll:Youll play a critical part in shaping people strategy at scale, balancing strategic influence with hands-on delivery to lift capability, manage risk, and build a workforce ready for the future.Youll sit at the intersection of strategy, workforce, culture and change, guiding leaders through complex people challenges, embedding organisation-wide initiatives, and ensuring that workforce decisions are data-driven, future-focused and aligned to enterprise priorities.Reporting into a Senior Manager, People & Culture, this is a permanent position for a Senior People & Culture practitioner who brings confidence, credibility and depth, not just in HR, but in how people strategy drives business performance. Partner directly with Executive Directors to translate divisional people strategy into targeted workforce outcomes at branch level. Act as a strategic advisor on high-impact people, workforce and industrial matters, bringing forward solutions and early risk insights and mitigations. Oversee complex case resolution, escalating only where issues require enterprise-level intervention. Drive workforce planning, talent and succession activities to secure capability for now and the future. Key contributor to organisational change and reform programs, supporting leaders to navigate complexity, maintain trust, and embed new ways of working. Apply workforce analytics and data intelligence to influence strategic decision-making and continuous improvement. Strengthen cohesion and consistency across People & Culture, partnering closely with the Senior Manager People & Culture, P&C Partners, ER specialists and your People, Culture and Workplace peers.This is a Permanent TfNSW Grade 9 position with multiple positions available.Hybrid working arrangements are available in alignment with our Workplace Presence policy.Please find the Position Description hereAbout youYoure a highly capable Senior People and Culture professional with significant experience advising and influencing at Executive or Senior leadership level. Your deep capability across human resources, workforce planning, talent, ER/IR, and organisational change within a large and complex environment will see you succeed in this role. Sound judgement, business and political acumen when navigating competing priorities, sensitive matters, or stakeholder tension. Confidence working with ambiguity, reform and high-risk people matters. A balance of strategic insight and practical operational delivery, able to coach, challenge and enable leaders. Strength in building trusted relationships and aligning multiple stakeholder groups to a common direction.
