Heritage Lawn Maintenance is a family run business operating out of Lake Macquarie. An opportunity has become available to join our Teamas an Apprentice Gardener. Up to 5 days per week Monday to Friday No Weekend work We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Gardener to join our team and complete a Certificate III in Parks & Gardens. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while learning from a skilled and supportive crew. About the role:As an Apprentice Gardener, youll work across a wide variety of residential and commercial properties. You will learn and develop practical skills in: Lawn care and mowing (push, ride-on & zero-turn) Whipper snipping Hedge trimming and pruning Planting, mulching, and garden bed maintenance Weed and pest control Turf laying and repair Safe use and maintenance of tools and equipment What were looking for: A genuine interest in gardening and horticulture Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor work Current drivers licence (or working towards it) preferred Hard working Have the ability to listen and following direction Good communication skills Well presented What we offer: A structured Certificate III in Parks & Gardens apprenticeship (on-the-job training) Supportive team environment with guidance from experienced gardeners Variety of work across lawns, gardens, and landscapes Long-term career opportunities in the horticulture industry If youre passionate about working outdoors and keen to build a career in gardening, wed love to hear from you!
