We are located approximately10mins north of the Wollongong CBD in Corrimal. Located within the community precinct, we are surrounded by ample free parking and close to several community facilities including,Corrimal District Library and Community Centre. Children are provided with opportunities to be actively involved in decisionmaking, skill building, play and experimentation in a safe environment with an emphasis on play-based learning. Educators use Circle of Security practices to ensure children feel safe, supported and protected while also employing principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child which states that all children have the right to an education that lays a foundation for the rest of their lives, maximises their ability, and respects their family, cultural and other identities and languages. About the Role ECTARC Short Street is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic trainee who is looking to start their career in early childhood education. During the 18-month traineeship you will gain valuable knowledge and experience whilst working and studying alongside our qualified and supportive educators to complete your Certificate III in Early Education and Care. ECTARC is also a registered training organisation. We have Training and Development Officers who also support you to gain the skills and experience youll need to be able to work at your very best in our service. Once you complete your certificate III qualification, we can provide you with real job opportunitiesin the future.
