Business Coordinator Regional Economic Development Ongoing, full-time role Location Regional NSW (Negotiable & Flexible) Clerk Grade 5/6, salary starting from $99,938 - $110,271 + super + leave loading Diversity and inclusion are core DPIRD values. About the role As a Business Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Director and Directors, while ensuring the effective coordination of business activities across the Branch. From managing executive priorities to coordinating events and supporting projects, no two days will be the same. Key responsibilities, but not limited to: Manage complex calendars and priorities to ensure optimal use of executive time and timely escalation of urgent matters Deliver confidential executive support, including drafting correspondence, reports, presentations, and other key documents Act as a central point of coordination, ensuring effective communication and information flow across teams and stakeholders Manage small projects and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of administrative processes, systems, and procedures Coordinate meetings and workshops end-to-end, including logistics, stakeholder liaison, and follow-up Provide high-level secretariat support, including preparing agendas, compiling papers, taking minutes, and tracking actions Support and coordinate initiatives, projects, and programs across the Branch as required Key knowledge and experience Proven experience providing high-level administrative and coordination support to senior executives across a broad range of functions, including finance, procurement, HR processes, and business operations Strong ability to manage competing priorities and support executive-level workflow in a fast-paced environment Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Demonstrated experience using correspondence tracking systems, databases, and electronic document and records management systems Experience working with financial and budgeting systems, with the ability to support monitoring, reporting, and administrative financial processes Highly developed digital literacy and confidence using a range of communication and collaboration tools What were looking for Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a continuous improvement approach Ability to exercise discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information You will be part of a collaborative and purpose-driven team working to support regional growth and development.
