Job Vacancy: Part-Time Driver The Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Canberra is seeking a reliable and responsible Part-Time Driver to join its local staff team. Please note that the salary stated is for part-time position (20 hours/week) Main Duties and Responsibilities: Driving Embassy staff and official visitors to meetings, events, and appointments Ensuring the safe and timely transportation of persons and documents Maintaining the Embassy vehicle in good condition (regular checks, cleanliness, service coordination) Keeping accurate records of trips (logbook) in line with Embassy instructions Assisting with deliveries, pick-ups, and other logistical tasks as required Supporting small administrative or maintenance tasks when requested (e.g. arranging minor repairs, purchasing supplies) Cooperating closely with Embassy staff to ensure smooth daily operations Requirements: Valid Australian drivers licence with a clean driving record Previous professional driving experience is an advantage Good knowledge of Canberra and surrounding areas Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and discretion Employment Details: Part-time position (approx. 20 hours per week, flexibility required) Employment under local conditions in accordance with Australian law Start date: by mutual agreement How to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to send their CV and a short cover letter in English to the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Canberra at: ************@mzv.sk Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
