PowerStack modular solar poles are a sustainable, cost-effective way to power safety, security, and smart technologies for commercial and community projects. The vertically integrated, 100% off-grid solar poles can be used to power everything from security cameras to street lighting, to IoT sensors and smart city infrastructure. Over the past 12 months, the company has grown rapidly, taking on industry leading distribution and channel partners across the lighting and security industries. The Role:Were looking for an all-rounder Factory Hand to help with prep, assembly and manufacturing during a busy period for the company. The role is a 3 month contract initially, with the potential to extend for the right candidate. Electrical experience or certification is not required but will be highly considered. Typical responsibilities include: Prep of components for manufacturing: drilling out materials, routing extrusion, cutting etc. QA of core components, and stacking and organising deliveries. Manufacture of solar poles: production and assembly of core components to build solar pole systems, using light industrial machinery, as well as battery operated power and hand tools. Quality assurance & testing: assist with testing to ensure finished product quality and functionality. Delivery prep: building skids, crates and packing and strapping completed projects ready for delivery. Warehouse maintenance: maintaining organisation and tidiness in the workshop in line with safe working practices, assisting with stocktakes and tool repair and replacement. Office administration: General business admin and processing. Key Requirements: Experience: Ideally 1+ years in a relevant role. Experience in the Electrical or Solar sector is highly regarded. Competent using various power tools - grinders, drop saw, hand drills, router. Existing, valid white card and forklift license. Good spoken and written English. Critical skills: strong problem-solving and attention to detail. Team player: work well within a collaborative, innovative environment. High standards: take pride in quality of work. Digital/Computer literacy: must be proficient with word processing, spreadsheet tools and basic office software programs.
