Zitron Australia Pty Ltd is a growing, ventilation fan manufacturing company, suppling industrial fan units to the mining and road tunnel sector, based in Perth and Sydney. An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Welder / Boilermaker to join the fast-growing Australian arm of an international group that is a global leader in the field of ventilation for underground mines, road and railway tunnels, and metro systems. The company is part of a group that operates in over 80 countries on 5 continents. In Australia, the company has supplied the ventilation required for the construction and long-term operation of many of the nations major underground transport infrastructure projects. Qualifications & experience Trade qualified, Cert 3 in engineering Weld Certified/ Coded welder Experience in bending, rolling and guillotine-cutting machines Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience with fabrication work Ability to use a press brake/bender Mig welding 0.9 solid wire Mig welding 1.2 flux core Oxy & plasma cutting Stick weld Able to Grind and sand to an acceptable standard Competent in using gantry cranes Ability to work on your own, and as part of a team a reliable and enthusiastic attitude Must be punctual with a clear understanding of meeting deadlines Forklift licence The right to work within Australia Things that would be good but not necessary Must reside locally in Perth, ideally South of the River Rigging/dogging /Forklift ticket Job Offer The role on offer is based in Hope Valley, south of Perth, and the commitment and passion to drive innovation that you will bring to it will be rewarded with a commensurate remuneration package.You will have the opportunity to stamp your mark on a role that has the ability to broaden your skill set and to allow you to be an important part of a successful company that can offer exciting career opportunities.The role will start on a casual basis leading to become full time permanent.
