In this vital after hours role you will provide safe, compassionate and personcentred specialist midwifery care, offering afterhours clinical expertise and leadership across the Postnatal Ward, Antenatal Ward and Birthing Unit. You will work collaboratively with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure highquality outcomes while guiding and supporting less experienced staff.Provide specialist midwifery leadership during afternoon and afterhours shiftsSupport less experienced midwives across the Postnatal Ward, Antenatal Ward and Birthing UnitAssess unit acuity, staffing needs and skill mix to prioritise workloadDeliver safe, evidencebased and womencentred midwifery careCollaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patientcentred goalsAre You the Right Fit?Youll excel in this role if you are a strong team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to womencentred care.
