The role of the Senior Social Worker within this nursing team is diverse as it works with various internal and external stakeholders to provide service collaboration, case management and review.The Senior Social Worker is responsible for providing psychosocial interventions and support from a strengths-based model, providing holistic care within trauma informed, culturally safe interventions. Social Work ensures psychosocial supports and interventions are established in collaboration with the family and are adaptive to reflect their changing needs.In addition, the Senior Social Worker supports other Social Work clinicians, Child and Family Health Nurses and other Allied Health clinicians to ensure best outcomes for families.
