Job Info Location: CORA LYNN, VIC Salary: Award Job Type: Contract position | Casual position Job DescriptionVegetable Harvesters, packers We require approximately 20 hardworking and dedicated workers to assist with the upcoming Cauliflower, Cabbage, Silver Beet and Broccoli harvests in the Cora Lynn region. The work will involve both harvesting and packing the vegetables, with the season commencing in late May 2026 and continuing to mid to late January 2027. Successful applicants will 120 hours of work every 4 week period and will be paid an hourly rate as casual workers under the Horticulture Award 2020. Applicants must be flexible with working hours, as the work is weather driven and will require a commitment of up to seven days a week. You will be required to work an 8-10 hour shift per day in all weather conditions, with start times varying in the morning. It is desirable for applicants to have a current drivers licence and access to their own vehicle to allow them to work the various hours. This type of work is very physically demanding and strenuous. All vegetables are individually harvested in the fields by hand, which requires significant walking and bending on uneven ground. Vegetables are hand harvested into crates or bins, and or onto conveyor belts. Packing shed work requires workers sort, grade and bunch quickly and efficiently whilst standing for long periods of time.
