The team works in a community-based clinic setting and is supported by a collaborative network of allied health and medical professionals who are committed to high-quality, client-centred care. This is a service where education, supervision and ongoing professional development are embedded in the way the team works.About the roleAs aPhysiotherapist, youll provide evidence-based physiotherapy input to children attending specialist clinics and rehabilitation blocks, working closely with other health professionals to support assessment, intervention and ongoing care. Your work will be predominantly outpatient-based, with a focus on thecerebral palsy and movement disorders clinic,toxin clinic, and rehabilitation services for children and young people requiring intensive rehab support.The role may also involve working with children and young people in theirhomes and schools, as well as attendingoutreach clinics across the Northern Child Health Network, including occasional overnight stays. Youll also contribute your paediatric physiotherapy knowledge to support other teams and clinicians, helping strengthen service delivery across the district.About youYoure a motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist who enjoys working with children and families and is committed to delivering a high-quality, client-centred service.
