Our company group BT Trading and Contracting is one of Australias largest fresh fruit growers, harvesting solution provider and exporters, supplying both the domestic and overseas markets. Our premium quality table grapes not only can be found in the local supermarket chains, but also are well enjoyed by the international consumers. Besides specialising in table grapes, we grow and export citrus, mangos, cherries, and stone fruits. The business is seeking for full time Machinery Supervisor and Facility Supervisor. The salary offered is $75,000 - $100,000 per annum plus superannuation. Machinery Supervisor Job duties and responsibilities include: Inspect machinery and equipment periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance Operate different types of machines and equipment Observe machine operations and evaluate product quality thereby ensuring conformity to standards Supervise and coordinate employees who operate machines Schedule, allocate and oversee the work Ensure proper machine operation and finished products meet company specifications Monitor and evaluate production records Report on production results, keep records of machines faults, interventions orirregularities Ensure adherence to quality standards as well as health and safety regulations Maintain inventory of machine parts Facility Supervisor Job duties and responsibilities include: Monitor and ensure grading, packing, cool chain, hygiene and dispatch process arecarried out pursuant to company standards and meet customers requirements. Control product quality through different stages in production shed, washing, first,second and final grading Evaluate the quality of incoming product and ascertain grading resources Maintain appropriate cool chain when handling and dispatch of product Communicate to manager and resolve any problems due to mechanical damage orgrading quality Insure accurate Quality Assurance records, permitting to complete traceability Ensure the quality of staff trainning is up to standard Ensure all dispatches follow standard procedures Supervise the treatments of waste to make sure they are all done according to thestandard procedures An ideal candidate should have the following skills and experience: Relevant work experience required Possess strong organisational, problem solving and verbal and written communicationskills A detail-oriented leader who can meet deadlines and work with diverse employees Possess the ability to work independently, with little or no supervision Pay: $75,000.00 $100,000.00 per year Benefits: Employee mentoring program Extended annual leave Maternity leave Referral program Travel reimbursement Work Location: In person
