About the Role Boresight is seeking a Field Service Engineer to act as the technical bridge between customers and product development. This role is for a hands-on expert who can rapidly develop a deep operational and technical understanding of Boresights product range to provide training courses, product demonstrations, drone field operations for both cUAS and ISR capabilities and customer service. You MUST be an Australian Citizen to be considered for this role. Role Responsibilities Develop an expert-level operational knowledge of Boresights current and in-development product lines. Deliver operator training courses for Boresights product range to local and international customers. Provide support for technology demonstrations including field maintenance and drone operation. Provide in-field drone operation for customers with both cUAS target drones and ISR drones. Provide customer service and technical support via email, phone communication or on-site visits. Contribute to the generation of training material including operator manuals and operator training courses. Ability to travel locally and internationally. Essential Qualifications No formal qualification required. Technical aptitude and willingness to rapidly learn complex technologies. Understanding of mechanical, electrical or electronic systems. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong written and oral communication skills. Australian open drivers license. Hold/obtain a minimum Baseline security clearance (must be an Australian citizen). Desired Qualifications Trade or tertiary qualification in a mechanical, electrical, electronics or related technical field. Experience operating drones or other autonomous technologies. Salary range between $90,000 and $110,000 excluding superannuation depending on the candidate.
