How We Make an Impact Recovery Station provides community and clinic based allied health services, with a strong focus on disability and senior health. For 20 years we have grown and now proudly offer services in the community across Sydney, the Hunter, Central Coast, Tamworth and nationally via telepractice. Together, our passionate multidisciplinary team of OTs, Mental Health OTs, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Dietitians and Allied Health Assistants collaboratively share their knowledge and experience to holistically design an individualised service to help improve the quality of life for people living with a disability or looking to age as independently as possible. The Role We are currently looking for a Contractor to join a team of 15+ Physio''s and EP''s to service a caseload around the Central Coast circa 2 days per week . You can see clients and catch up with team mates for supervision and social events in our Erina office as well as work from home when desired. Working in a community role means you get the flexibility to see clients where they''re comfortable so you can work together towards the goals most meaningful to them. Day to day will get the diverse range of experiences that come from conducting appointments in our clinic, group homes, aged care facilities or out at the house of the client or their local gym, park or pool. You will work with a range of clients living with a disability, neurological conditions or looking to age as gracefully and independently as possible. Day to day you will focus on individuals funded under the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA), community aged care packages and the NDIS. Your compassionate nature and enjoyment of helping others will assist people achieve independence, improved quality of life and safety to live life to the fullest. Who Your Work Helps Of particular focus will be individuals funded under the NDIS, Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) and community aged care packages. Our services can encompass active rehabilitation, conditioning, neuro, aquatic therapy and more. These sessions may be conducting in clients homes, aged care facilities gyms, local pools, outdoor facilities alongside report writing time at home or in the office. The skills you will develop and demonstrate in the role: Conducting various assessments for people with disabilities (NDIS) Deliverindividual and group sessions Advise on exercise, therapy and equipment Providing rehabilitation and falls prevention initiatives Delivereducation programs Your compassionate nature and enjoyment of helping others will assist people achieve independence, improved quality of life and safety to live life to the fullest.
