Alongside Happitat were rapidly growing Walden Little Walden caf (already open) and the flagship Walden restaurant opening soon in Beechmont. Our founder & CEO, Michael Neururer (ex-professional snowboarder, rope-access pioneer and conservationist), is looking for his strategic right-hand: an Executive Assistant who doesnt just manage a diary you engineer the entire operating system behind the magic. This is a role for someone who lives and breathes systems thinking. You love app stacking, building talking platforms that seamlessly store, share and surface information so every new team member (in our naturally transient tourism industry) can hit the ground running instead of restarting from square one. You turn chaos into compounding growth. What Youll Actually Own Own the Founder & CEOs calendar, priorities, follow-ups and high-impact projects nothing slips. Design interconnected systems stack apps, automate workflows, build living knowledge bases (Notion, Microsoft 365 Copilot, AI tools and beyond) so every departments manuals, training, safety protocols, guest data and operational intel talk to each other in real time. Create and maintain a single source of truth for the entire business ensuring new starters (guides, customer experience, F&B, maintenance) have instant, clear access to everything they need. Project-manage cross-functional initiatives across Happitat Adventures, Customer Experience, Walden hospitality, sustainability and growth projects. Use AI and automation to turn ideas into executed reality at lightning speed while keeping the warm, positive, human and authentic Happitat vibe. Act as the calm, high-energy heartbeat of the executive office stakeholder coordination, confidential matters, culture reinforcement and the occasional make this guests day legendary moment. What You Bring Proven Executive Assistant or senior admin experience supporting C-level or Founder-level leaders (hospitality, tourism or high-growth sectors highly regarded). Obsessed with systems and app stacking you have a track record of building seamless, interconnected platforms that store, share and surface knowledge so teams compound rather than restart. Deep comfort with modern tools (Microsoft 365, Copilot, Notion, automation platforms, AI) and the ability to make technology disappear into effortless operations. Exceptional organisation, discretion, anticipation and relentlessly positive communication. Genuine passion for adventure, nature, sustainability and world-class guest experiences. Current C-class drivers licence and willingness to be based in the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland. First Aid/CPR and tetanus (or willingness to obtain). Youll be unstoppable if you also have experience in tourism, hospitality or F&B and a growth-mindset love for process improvement in high-turnover industries.
