Achieving that requires a regulator that usesdata, digitalsystemsand intelligenceto target risk, reduce regulatory burden and make informed decisions.AsDirector Data and Digital Systems,in collaboration with the SafeWork NSW Executive LeadershipTeamyou will provide strategic leadership of SafeWork NSWs enterprise data, digital and systems capabilityensuring the organisation has secure,accessibleand fitforpurpose platforms that support its regulatory responsibilities and strategic priorities.This is a key senior leadership role shaping how SafeWork NSW harnessestechnology,analyticsand innovationto improve regulatory effectiveness and deliver better outcomes for workers,employersand the NSW community.WhatyoullleadIn this role, you will:Lead a multi-disciplinary team acrossdata and digitalfunctionsto enable SafeWork NSW to deliver its strategic priorities and legislated regulatory functions.Lead the delivery ofenterprise digital and systems initiatives, ensuring solutions are secure, usercentred, compliant and deliver measurable public value.Establish strongenterprise data governance and intelligence capability, enabling highquality insights to inform regulatory strategy, operational decisionmaking and riskbased interventions.Drivedigital and dataenabled innovation, embedding internal capability andleveragingemerging technologies to improve service delivery and reduce regulatory burden.Strengthen organisationalcyber security capability, working with partners to manage risk and build resilience across systems and platforms.Build andmaintainproductive relationships across government,industryand service providers to enable collaboration, sharedsolutionsand effective delivery.Working across SafeWorkNSWensuringcompliance between business strategies, enterprise transformationactivitiesand technology directions, setting strategies, policies,standardsand practices.Lead,coachand develop a multidisciplinary team, fosteringan inclusive,accountableand highperforming culturein a complex regulatory environment.WhatyoullbringWerelooking for a senior leader who can connectstrategy,technologyand public value.You will bring:Senior leadership experience acrossdata, digital, ICT or technologyenabled transformationin a complex organisation.Strong understanding ofenterprise data, digitalplatformsand system governance, including privacy, cybersecurityand ethical data use.Experience delivering largescaledigital or systems transformation, from strategy through to implementation and benefits realisation.The ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders, providing clear, evidencebased advice in complex environments.A collaborative leadership style that builds trust,capabilityand momentum through change.Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience inIT, digital, engineering,dataor a related discipline.Experience in a regulatory environment is not essentialwhat matters is your ability to lead specialists, manage complexity and deliver secure, futurefocused digital capability.Why join SafeWork NSW?SafeWork NSW is the states work health and safety regulator.
