OverviewThe purpose of this position is to provide clients with high quality support and care that addresses individual needs, and enhances independence, abilities, community participation and/or quality of life in support of the clients individual goals and aspirations. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join our clinical team in the Maclean area.Casual Registered Nurse (RN) Maclean, NSWCasualWorking in Maclean, NSWKey Responsibilities Contribute to the formulation of care plans / clinical pathways Oversee that specialised nursing needs are met and documented Contribute to the health education of patients to maintain and promote health Work with challenging behaviours and complex clientele Support, train, or mentor other carers as appropriate Provide full personal care, including showering, drying, dressing & grooming Bowel care Manual handling Oral care Catheter care Provide personal care to clients with emphasis on those requiring extra help due to specific physical problems or frailty Schedule maintenance work programs on a routine and regular basis Transport participants to and from home and day programs, and other activities and appointments Assist with the administration of medication in accordance with Subees Medication Management Policy & Procedure Supporting participants to manage their money and to purchase requested items Necessary Qualifications NDIS Workers Check First Aid Certificate Valid Drivers Licence Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent Desired Qualifications Knowledge/experience of the community/aged care/disability sectors We offer services in Coffs Harbour and surrounding towns on the Mid-North Coast of NSW: Coffs Harbour; Toormina; Sawtell; Urunga; Nambucca Heads; Valla; Macksville; South West Rocks; Kempsey; Mylestom; Raleigh; Bellingen; Dorrigo; Coramba; Nana Glen; Woolgoolga; Wooli; Minnie Water; Grafton.We offer services in Newcastle, Maitland, Port Stephens and Lake Macquarie and surrounding towns in NSW: Newcastle; Maitland; Hunter Valley; Cessnock; Lake Macquarie; Belmont; Swansea; Morriset; Port Stephens; Nelson Bay; Raymond Terrace; Rutherford; Kurri Kurri; Branxton.To apply, please email your resume and a cover letter outlining how your skills, knowledge, and attributes are suited to the position.
