Kamala services young people and their families who reside in Northern NSW (NNSWLHD) and Mid North Coast LHDs. Our nurses play an essential role in the multi-disciplinary team and work alongside psychiatry, social work, occupational therapy and clinical psychology, as well as Department of Education teachers and psychologists and a range of diversional and creative therapists in providing high quality care.Kamala is a high performing team that has been recognised with multiple awards. In 2025, the nursing team won the NNSWLHD Nursing and Midwifery Awards and progressed to become finalists in the NSW Health Nursing and Midwifery Awards The entire team were also awarded winners of the 2025 NNSWLHD Quality Awards.
