Expected compensation: 32.32 USD Per Hour HireArt is helping our client find Heavy Machinery Operators to support the safe operation, testing, and readiness of large-scale mining vehicles while representing the company with professionalism and a customerservice mindset. In this role, youll operate and maintain 40ton mining vehicles and Ford Raptors, perform routine inspections, and support hardware and software testing to ensure vehicle performance, safety, and reliability. Youll also provide valuable feedback to engineering teams to improve system functionality and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is safetyfocused, dependable, and adaptable, with proven heavy machinery experience and strong attention to detail. Responsibilities Safely operate 40ton articulated haul truck, excavators and bulldozers, and Ford Raptors as needed. Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections, complete DVIRs, and report maintenance or performance issues promptly. Support hardware and software testing, providing detailed written and verbal feedback to engineering teams. Uphold the highest safety and compliance standards, ensuring readiness of all assigned vehicles. Travel as required (up to 5%) to support field operations and testing activities. Requirements 5+ years of verified heavy machinery operation experience Comfortable driving and backing 20ton vehicles for extended periods Commercial drivers license preferred but not required Clean driving record: No more than two minor violations in the past 3 years No serious violations in the past 5 years No DUI/DWI/OUI/reckless driving convictions in the past 10 years No preventable accidents in the past 3 years (personal or commercial) No DOT recordable accidents in the past 10 years Ability to pass a background check and road test RII certifications (RIIMPO338E - Rigid Haul Truck or RIIMPO337E - Articulated Dump Truck) for construction or mining environments Professional, reliable, and teamoriented with strong communication skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to company policies and safety procedures Interest in driverassistance and autonomous technology and willingness to learn new tools and systems Commitment This is a fulltime, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt.
