The role We are seeking an energetic and safety-focused Duty Manager Leisure & Aquatic Operations to lead the daytoday operations across our awardwinning aquatic centres. Youll provide frontline leadership to lifeguards and facility staff, ensuring safe, clean, and customercentred environments for all patrons. This role is crucial to delivering a highquality leisure experience across CBCitys aquatic facilities. Duties will include but not be limited to Lead aquatic staff and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for patrons Supervise daily operations across aquatic centres including plant operations and water quality Manage incidents, enforce safety protocols and respond to emergencies when required Train and mentor pool lifeguards, ensuring compliance with SWP15 and facilityspecific plans Coordinate facility maintenance, equipment use, and chemical storage practices Support continuous improvement of aquatic services, programs and procedures Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health, safety and council procedures Work flexibly across all aquatic locations within CBCity, including weekends and evenings You will have TAFE NSW Pool Operations or RLSSA Technical Operations (or equivalent) Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate Senior First Aid Certificate Current Working with Children Check Demonstrated experience in leisure and aquatic centre operations Strong knowledge of aquatic safety standards and emergency procedures Experience in cash handling and customer service Ability to swim 200m continuously within 6minutes Availability to work across a 7day roster Desirable: Aquatic management training, tertiary qualifications in WHS or business, and a current ClassC Drivers Licence.
