Gaming Attendant & Relief Assistant Duty Manager About the position Our Bar and Gaming team plays a central role in creating the Wests experience. Were currently seeking a fulltime team member to join the team at Wests New Lambton and help deliver exceptional service to our members and guests. As part of the team you will keep our indoor and outdoor spaces, including designated smoking zones, welcoming, safe, and enjoyable from assisting with service and enquiries to ensuring our venues remain clean and inviting. In addition to the inherent responsibilities of a gaming attendant, this position will also involve acting as a relief Assistant Duty Manager when needed (training provided). Key responsibilities include: Provide friendly customer service Gaming machine service Drink orders and delivery to machines Reset and payout jackpot wins Operation of Tab and Keno terminals Cleaning of work station and equipment Operation of tills and cash handling Collect glasses from the floor and return to bar areas for cleaning Assist the Duty Management team to coordinate shifts Provide training and mentoring to develop team members Promote a positive and supportive team culture Ensure compliance with the Registered Clubs Act, Liquor Act, ILGR Regulations and Gaming Machine Act This position requires availability on Friday nights and weekends, with reasonable availability Monday to Thursday. Shifts are rostered from the evening through to the early hours of the morning. This role is ideal for an experienced candidate seeking a pathway into a management position within our clubs.
