APAC Sales Manager- Fumigation Location: Sydney, Australia Employment type: Regular Responsibilities Support the region''s growth plans by working closely with partners to ensure monthly, quarterly and annual business targets, including revenue, contribution margin, cash and forecast accuracy, are achieved. Work independently with high spontaneity. Provide updated monthly, quarterly and yearend forecasts for the product range in the assigned territory. Act as an active member of the regional and global fumigation team, communicating, sharing knowledge, writing call reports and attending crossfunctional meetings. Uncover, create, progress, track and close opportunities beyond existing business. Support budgeting for assigned regions for short, mid and longterm planning. Build and submit monthly sales reports to the BD manager. Provide sales call reports, account plans, opportunity plans and market/account/competitor information using Salesforce. Be responsible for DSO and complaint resolution for the assigned region. Periodically visit partners/customers as applicable to support development and cooperation with the technical and business development team. Establish and develop strong relationships with partners and key enduse customers at field and operational levels. Investigate potential markets and codevelop a strategic growth plan for the region with the BD manager. Support innovation projects in the region as directed by the BD manager. Coordinate customer visits with TS&D and Business Development. Support marketing, advertising and social media projects for the business as directed by the BD manager. Take care of all commercial activities: forecasting, contracts, price increases/incentives/adjustments, orders, complaints and timely reporting via CRM. Act as commercial point of contact for cylinder asset management in the region, ensuring cylinders are turned at max rate and available to operations in timely fashion. Support all regional fumigation registration and regulatory compliance requirements. Achieve or exceed budget figures (revenue, contribution margin, EBITDA, T&E, cash, forecast accuracy etc). Develop a thorough understanding of growth opportunities and competitive position in the market and support development of medium and longterm strategic plans. Operate in adherence to all Syensqo policies and procedures. Territory Geography responsibility extends to all of APAC, with focus on Australia and New Zealand. Maintain and develop business with key partners/end users in APAC. Maintain and develop strong relationships with partner contacts at various levels. Potential key customer visits to support operations and develop opportunities. Engage greater Syensqo support teams to solve customer complaints quickly. Propose commercial actions to win more share at existing accounts. Support Supply Chain team to continuously improve cylinder management. Manage the business with distributors and fumigation service providers. Safety Requirements Demonstrate proficiency in the Fumigant Product Stewardship Program technical and legal aspects of safe and effective use of phosphine gas formulations. Understand and follow key safety policies: Emergency Response / Evacuation Guidelines, Visitor Safety Policy, Housekeeping. Demonstrate a commitment to safety for self, fellow employees and customers. Attend monthly safety training as required. Obtain equipment or processspecific safety training as necessary according to the hazards. Extra Information Role involves interaction with and support of a large list of end users, often performing inhouse fumigation. Distributors used in fumigation are specialized, not standard chemical distributors, and can be alternative fumigants; the commercial model relies on regional teams working with all players in the value chain. You Will Bring College or university degree. Experience working in the agricultural chemical industry preferred. Experience in postharvest agricultural field desirable. Proven experience in managing customer expectations and developing strong partner relationships. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience in solving commercial problems. Technical experience/skills an asset. Accept hybrid working or homebased in Australia. Travel within Australia and New Zealand. Current passport and prepared to travel within APAC.
