Saltbush Social Enterprises is seeking a Wellbeing Program Counsellor to deliver culturally safe, evidence-based counselling services that create meaningful change for individuals, families and communities across Darwin and the NT. About the Role: Based in Darwin, youll provide high-quality counselling support through individual and group sessions, helping clients improve mental health, wellbeing and life outcomes. Youll work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver tailored therapeutic support, referrals and wellbeing programs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver evidence-based counselling interventions including CBT, motivational interviewing, psychoeducation and mindfulness Facilitate one-on-one and group wellbeing sessions Support clients with referrals and access to additional services Maintain accurate case notes and confidential records Contribute to program reporting, quality improvement and service outcomes Build strong relationships with health, mental health and community stakeholders Support staff wellbeing initiatives and workshops when required About You: You are a qualified and empathetic professional with experience supporting clients with complex needs. You will bring: Qualification in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or similar Current professional membership (AASW, ACA, PACFA, APS or equivalent) Experience delivering therapeutic counselling with measurable outcomes Strong understanding of trauma-informed and culturally safe practice Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong administration and IT skills Mandatory Requirements: National Police Check NT Working with Children (OCHRE) Card Current Drivers Licence First Aid Certificate Relevant qualifications and registrations If you are interested in this opportunity, apply now by submitting your resume and cover letter or give Rell a call on 08 8982 10***to find out more.
