This hands-on role is ideal for an experienced Distribution Officer with strong driving, warehousing, and safety capabilities.Location: Somersby DepotWorking Hours: 7:00am 3:30pmHourly rate: $50$60/hr + Super (PAYG)Contract length: Contract until March 2027Immediate start (pending checks) The RoleAs a Distribution Officer, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient movement of materials across warehouse and field operations. This includes operating heavy vehicles and cranes, managing stock, and ensuring timely delivery to internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Safely operate Heavy Rigid (HR/HC) vehicles and vehicle-mounted cranes Load, transport, and deliver materials between depots, sites, and contractors Perform warehouse duties including receiving, inspection, storage, picking, and dispatch Maintain accurate records and use warehouse management systems Ensure compliance with load restraint, fatigue management, and transport regulations Support stock control, inventory accuracy, and quality assurance processes Collaborate with logistics teams, field staff, and contractors to meet operational needs Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures About You Youre a safety-focused, reliable operator who thrives in a team environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.Essential Requirements: Valid HC or HR Drivers Licence Forklift Licence (LF) Dogman Ticket C2 Crane Ticket White Card Traffic Controller (Blue Card) Strong knowledge of load restraint and heavy vehicle regulations Experience in warehouse and distribution operations Ability to use warehouse and basic computer systems Desirable: Dangerous Goods Licence Experience in utilities, infrastructure, or large-scale logistics environments What Youll Bring Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance Ability to work both independently and within a team Good communication skills and attention to detail Problem-solving mindset and ability to prioritise tasks Willingness to learn and rotate across warehouse functions Compliance Requirements 2 x reference checks (mandatory) National Police Check (mandatory) Full working rights in Australia Signed Confidentiality Deed Why Apply?
