The Package: $90,455.04 - $99,952.84 gross per annum + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 13 of the QPRC Salary System 2025). Full-time 38 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements may apply. Take the lead at QPRC, guiding our animal management team to provide exceptional care and find forever homes for our four-legged residents! In this role you will: Ensure the health and welfare of all animals by managing their intake, assessment, rehoming, timely veterinary care, and accurate record-keeping. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Animal Management Facility, ensuring cleanliness and functionality. Coordinate, mentor, and provide ongoing support and training to both staff and volunteers. Respond to public enquiries and complaints professionally. We are looking for someone who: Proven experience in handling animals while maintaining high standards of care and welfare. Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and regulations governing animal care, welfare and management. Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team to successfully complete goals within agreed timelines. Possesses the ability to deliver exceptional customer care and effectively resolve conflicts.
