With a strong presence in the commercial, infrastructure, defence and specialist facilities, our Fredon WA Electrical team is currently looking for an experiencedProject Administratorto join the project team on a major electrical construction project locatedat Rockingham. This is a full-time opportunity and will beSite Basedand would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced project environment and being part of an established site team. Reporting to the Project Manager, the key responsibilities include: Answering incoming calls, taking messages and redirecting calls as required Provide support and contractual assistance to the project team Assist in preparing, submitting, managing and negotiating contract variations Ensure database and registers are maintained accurately Prepare and administer contractual correspondence, notices, variations and delays to key stakeholders Assist with monthly progress claims and statutory documentation Process weekly timesheets and tracking of labour and workforce registers Coordinate labour and plant inductions, including acting as the main contact for new site personnel Liaise with the project managers and procurement team for material and plant ordering Support project program updates in coordinator with project managers Assist with subcontractor variation, order amendments and onboarding Organise meetings, manage calendars and take meeting minutes as required Manage document control, including samples, RFIs, correspondence, QA documentation and site records Assisting the construction team with day to day administrative tasks as required The successful candidate will have the following skills and experiences Demonstrated experience in a project administration role within the construction industry Exposure to purchase orders, cost tracking and invoicing processing High attention to detail and organisational skills Intermediate computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suit Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to solve problems in an efficient manner High integrity and a proven ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Positive team player with a can-do attitude Whats on Offer Full-time, long-term opportunity on a live construction project Stable employment with a respected WA electrical contractor Supportive project team environment Exposure to large-scale electrical construction works Due to the expected volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
