At InterContinental Perth City Centre we are here to make each valued guest enjoy the finer things in life to discover the means of experiences that cannot be had anywhere else.Welcome AmbassadorWe are looking for a full time Welcome Ambassador to join our charming, confident and internationally minded team who knows how to exceed guest expectations.Day to DayAs a Welcome Ambassador, you will need to consistently demonstrate the highest standards of guest focus and care, primarily situated outside the hotel''s entrance. You will bring passion, energy and a friendly warm smile to our hotel. This position has the overall responsibility of ensuring all guests have a positive arrival and departure experience.Greet and assist guests at the hotel entranceProvide accurate information concerning hotel facilities, venues, transportation and key points of interestAlert management of any suspicious activities or charactersSummons taxis, shuttle drivers and control traffic flow at hotel entranceEnsure the hotel entrance is free of litter and debrisAssist the Concierge & Bell Attendants as requiredBring the InterContinental Welcome and Farewell to life from a guests first interaction to final thank you and goodbyeWhat We Need From YouAre you refined, personable & proactive? The successful candidate will need to demonstrate these behaviours every day and must have all 7 of the criteria:Excellent personal presentation, positive energy each day, with proven ability to hold an engaging conversation with anyoneExcellent attention to detail & commitment to high standards - we are a Luxury Hotel experienceOngoing availability to work rostered shifts across 7 days a week including weekends and public holidays.
