About The Role We are looking for an experienced Fixed Plant Operator to join a high performing, diverse team environment working a 5/5/4 Hybrid shift rotational roster consisting of days and nights residing in the town of Wickham. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will be Safe operation of fixed plant equipment to meet daily production targets & KPIs Daily use of safety tools (STS App, CCC, Pre task hazard assessments) Dumper, Conveyor, Stacking, Reclaiming & Shiploader operations Self-managing assigned sequence & daily tasks Execution of wash down activities to meet plant hygiene & shut wash requirements Conduct shore side mooring operations Effectively communicate with OC Controllers & other key stakeholders Complete quality handovers with oncoming teams Identify & capturing defects of Port assets via Paperless Maintainer / SAP notifications About You A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team Two years Fixed plant experience - working with shiploaders, crushers, screens, conveyors, reclaimers, car dumpers and stackers Experience operating D10, D11 Dozers advantageous A current WA Manual C Class Drivers license A current or eligibility to obtain a MSIC Ability to execute work in alignment with Rio Tinto values and behaviours Ability to work in an inclusive & diverse team environment Strong oral & written communication skills Computer literacy skills with MS office products What We Offer Be recognised for your contribution, your thinking and your hard work, and go home knowing youve helped the world progress. We blend our products at our own ports, which allows us to produce a reliable and consistent product. And because we have dedicated shipping operations, we are able to better control the delivery of product to our customers. We operate 4 independent shipping terminals at 2 locations, Cape Lambert and Dampier, managed as a single port system.
