Glandore, Full Time, Accounting Please Quote Reference Number 16455 Seeking an experienced Accountant Remuneration - $78,000 - $83,000 Join the ALL IN ONE ASIAN GROCERY team in Glandore Pathibhara Investment Pty Ltd has been running "All in One Asian Grocery", a fruit and vegetable store and "Fresh chulo Restaurant" (Authentic Nepalese & Indian cuisine) since 2019. We are actively looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Glandore Team in a fulltime position working 38hrs a week. The Accountant is responsible for providing professional accounting services, including financial reporting, taxation compliance, budgeting, and financial analysis. The role involves applying accounting principles to support business operations across multiple divisions, including grocery retail, restaurant, and function center activities. Duties/Responsibilities Preparing, examining, and analyzing accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting standards Developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting systems, policies, and internal controls to ensure accurate financial management across the business Preparing and lodging statutory returns, including GST (BAS), PAYG withholding, payroll tax, and other regulatory obligations with the Australian Taxation Office and relevant state authorities Monitoring cash flow, income, and expenditure, and providing advice to management on financial performance, cost management, and profitability Preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial projections, and analysing variances between actual and budgeted results Providing financial and taxation advice to support business decisionmaking, including pricing, cost control, and operational efficiency across grocery, hospitality, and event operations Managing payroll processes, including calculation and review of wages, superannuation, and employee entitlements, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation Analyzing financial data and identifying risks, trends, and opportunities to improve business performance Assisting in the preparation of yearend financial statements and coordinating with external accountants and auditors Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements Liaising with external stakeholders, including financial institutions, Tax Professional, and government agencies Skill Level and Requirements Bachelor''s degree or higher qualification in accounting or a closely related field Relevant work experience may be required in addition to formal qualifications The role requires the application of professional accounting knowledge and judgement Membership or eligibility for membership of a recognized professional accounting body such as CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, or Institute of Public Accountants is preferred but not essential The role is performed within a business operating across grocery retail, restaurant service, and function/event operations, requiring the application of accounting principles across multiple revenue streams and cost structures.
